Using Cascable Studio with the Stream Deck

With the release of Cascable Studio 7.1, you can use Cascable with your Stream Deck on the Mac and iPad.

Cascable Studio’s Stream Deck integration includes a number of useful actions, as well as support for changing camera settings via the dials on the Stream Deck Plus.

Mac Setup

To use Cascable Studio with your Stream Deck on the Mac, you’ll need:

• Cascable Studio 7.1 or higher
• A Stream Deck
• Stream Deck software version 4.3 or higher installed on your Mac

Once you have your Stream Deck set up on your Mac, you’ll need to install the Cascable Studio Stream Deck plugin for Mac into the Stream Deck app.

Once installed, you’ll see a new “Cascable Studio” section in the Stream Deck app, and you can drag actions onto the keys and dials of your choice.

iPad Setup

To use Cascable Studio with your Stream Deck on iPad, you’ll need:

• An iPad with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, etc) and a USB-C port
• Cascable Studio 7.1 or higher
• A Stream Deck
• Stream Deck Connect installed on your iPad

Before using your Stream Deck with Cascable Studio on your iPad, you must install the Stream Deck Connect app, then use that to enable the Stream Deck Device Driver on your iPad.

Once you have the Stream Deck Device Driver up-and-running, your Stream Deck will automatically show Cascable Studio functions when Cascable Studio is running.
