GoPro Bluetooth & WiFi Connection Guide
Welcome to the GoPro connection guide! The process of connecting Cascable Studio to your camera is usually very simple. This guide will walk you through the steps.

Before We Start

Make sure your camera is supported by Cascable Studio.

Important: Check that your camera’s firmware is up-to-date. Multiple GoPro models will fail to work with Cascable Studio if they’re running an older firmware version. Visit GoPro’s Product Updates page for instructions on updating your camera.

Connecting Cascable Studio to Your GoPro

Swipe down from the top of the back screen of the GoPro, then scroll right.

On newer GoPro models, tap Pair Device. On older models, tap Connections → Connect Device → GoPro Quik App.

In Cascable Studio, choose the option to connect to a GoPro camera via Bluetooth & WiFi.

Connections to GoPro cameras can take upwards of 30 seconds to complete via Bluetooth & WiFi. For a faster connection, connect via USB.

In order to connect to a GoPro camera, Cascable Studio needs Bluetooth and local networking permissions. On the Mac, it also needs the location permission. If these permissions are not granted, connections via Bluetooth & WiFi will fail.
